The design was created as a change to the building just before completion. We abolished mineral coffered ceilings, downlights, carpets, some standard doors, omitted unnecessary ones and acknowledged the original materials, beamed ceilings, air conditioning. We designed a concrete floor, smoothed wall surfaces and added atypical elements to the space: steel doors and a bar, atypical furniture, toilets as spaces with an individual character (mirror toilet, toilet with neon signs, toilet with ornaments). A room with urinals as a place of Duchamp's surrealism. Joy, play, surprise. An interaction of theatre and architecture.
